Syrian Civil War

This war in Syria mostly known as the Syrian Civil War is basically a battle between president Bashar al-Assad's government and the rebels who want to overthrow the government. First of all, this war started around the early spring of 2011. Another fact is that the government's army was mostly made up off their armed forces but since 2014, so many casualties have happened that they are trying to get people to volunteer to fight. Though the rebel's army is just pretty much whoever wants to try and take down the government. The battles are still going on today and who knows weather these two will make peace, or fight to the death. What do you guys think will happen?

  1. Carter- I think the government will not be overthrown because they are to powerful and they can easily beat the Bashar al-Assad's.I saw in 2013 the Bashar al-Assad had taken over 30-40 percent of territories. Do you know who has the advantage right now in the war? If it is the government then I would be correct. I also saw that 250,000 civilians have been killed because of this war they have been forced to serve in this terrible conflict.

  2. I agree with druv they are so powerful it would be very hard. I would not want to join there forces for war. I think the war will stay and keep going on until someone changes. It must be horrible to live. I would hate to live there and would want to leave but cant
