Gaza is a small city in Israel, it been in a lot of war and it started in 2008, and ends 2009. First the Gaza Strip is about 40 km by 10 km, and the population is about 1.8 million people. Over half of them are refugee. About 80% of the population of Gaza live bellow the poverty line (Less than $2 a day). Israel has the power to control Gaza. Most of the people in Gaza speak Arabic, many Palestinians speak Hebrew, and English is also understood. Finally Gaza is a small city who survived in the war! Now, how do you think the people in Gaza survived during the war?
I think many people joined the army to escape poverty and find shelter. I feel really bad for people who have to live in these poor and war torn country. I hope these people can get help from other countries and repair their broken economy. Have you felt how these people have felt?
