Promises Reflection

Promises is, of course, a film that attempts to show you the very difficult situation that exists between the Palestinians and the Israelis from the perspective of kids your age that are living right in the heart of the conflict. In this blog post, please share what you learned from what you have seen so far in this important film. In your writing, try to show that you are aware of how each side must feel. I am not asking you to make a value judgment-to say who is in the right and who is in the wrong-just show that you can see from each side why they might believe the way that they do.

Also, I would like for you to make a prediction BASED UPON WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN as to how the meeting (when the Palestinian and Israeli kids get together) might go. What types of things do you think they might do and/or discuss? Use information from what you have seen to back up your predictions.

Happy blogging!

(No comments are required this time, but you certainly can learn more/help yourself and others grow more from having dialogue about stuff like this.) Besides, sometimes when you do something that you want to do versus when you are required to do them...you do your best work.)
