A Close War

In this world there are many conflicts. Some of them are worse than others. There are people who live very close and very similar lives that are living in constant war. If those same children grew up together without war they would most likely be very good friends. Both sides the Arabs and the Jews think that the land is theirs and the other side is the wrong one. Do you think that they can change without both sides cooperating with the other?

I learned from this movie that life in Israel can be a bit challenging for some religions. The Jews and the Arabs are having trouble getting along. There are soldiers everywhere gaurding every event that happens in Israel. There are also checkpoints where soldiers check what people have in their cars. If they have something bad, they need to leave. There have been many attacks in Israel. Many children, woman, and men were killed. Soldiers had guns, when others only had hot stones. Think if this happend to you. Would this be fair, or horribly un-fair? I choose un-fair. Who’s with me?

The movie we watched expressed what is going and what will be going for who know’s how long. The problem is a fight for land based on religion. Which was about 15 years ago and now it’s gotten even worse.  This problem needs to emphasized. THe movie took it into a child’s point a view which made you think in a different point a view. For the kids when they didn’t know what the other.

No chances

The movie that we watched in social studies shows that you can't judge people by their past.  The Israelis and the Palestinians were too judgey. They should share the land equally.  They may not know each other or think the others are very bad but they are just like each other.  The kids changed right away after talking to the other kids.   If they didn't know or think of them being bad they could get along so much better and not be any trouble.  I think they should just share the land and be nice to each other.  I know it's not a perfect world but they could at least try.  If you were in there situation what would you do?

So far this movie, promises has been very interesting for me. It has showed me how different it is from here to all the way where they live. The Israelis are very into praying and doing very many spiritual things. My prediction is that there is going to be a big war between the Israelis and the Palestinians. and many people will die. None of them actually deserve to die because they are all in a poor environment. I believe that there should not be a war but between the Israelis and the Palestinians, then again around where they live there is a big impact on war and battling between them. Israelis and Palestinians

I think that Israelis and Palestinians should share their land equally. If they don't do something about it can cause something bad like a massacre again. I learned in the video that people should not judge people on what happened to other people in their religion. They can still be nice and be Palestinians but some can be bad not all. If they both didn't have the image of each other being bad people they could get along swimmingly. If you were Israelis or Palestinians would you still be nice to the other?

The promises movie is about Israelis and Palestinians kids about the same age as us and are in the middle of conflict.  The palestinians can’t pass through Israel without going through the checkpoint. And the Israelis forbid all palestinians come through Israel and they when the palestinians come through Israel it is an act of terrorism.  It is not fair how Israel has guns to defend themselves and the palestinians only have stones to defend for them.  Both of them have many things in common and they can be friends and that would be good for the kids to make with friends with them.  They can be really good friends and two good countries as friends is a good alliance and this would lead to less war in the future.  So I think Israelis and Palestinians should be friends don’t you? They have no difference don’t you think so too.

 Why Fight Man.

Bros, No more fighting. Just share the land. People will keep on fighting unless they unite and become one. What the people did in the movie was a genius idea. They could be the people who can unite the two countries. Jews and Arab people united, then it will be better. The only place to unite is north and south Korea. After that, then we have to focus how to stop Isis.

I feel that both sides have evidence of who actually owns the land. Both sides must feel like their side own the land or that the other side has taken their land. First, I think the kids will be friends with the other kids and will visit each other. Next, I think the kids might discuss if they should meet the other kids. Finally, they’ll probably end up visiting each other and be happy that they did because in the movie a kid is calling another kid on the phone and is asking him to come over to his house since he can’t cross the checkpoints.

I learned that Palestinians and Israelis don't like each other. They booth think that they stole each other's land, but I think they should share the land. They should meet and I think they should come together and they might like each other, like ow the kid liked BZ. They might find similarities and like each other. I think it would be great if they could be together and and be friends together and share their holy places. How do you think they should accomplish this.

The Israel Conflict

I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have equal rights to this land, so they should just share the land. If they did share the land I think everyone would be more happy and there would be less war. I predict that the Arabian kids and the Israeli kids will like each other a lot if they do end up meeting. I think one of them will make tensions rise and they will fight and the soldiers will break it up. I hope that the Arabs and the Israelis can get along but I kind of also expect them to fight because that was how they were raised.

So You Have A War On Your Hands Here's An Easy Solution

I think that the people all have very good reasons to do what they are doing. But why not just share the land. Then they would have access to the rock, and other religious spots instead of just saying that, it was written that we would own this land and us only so you have to leave. I think that it is silly that they are fighting over all of that land when it could just be easier to share it and have peace. What would you do in their situation?

Israel's and Palestinians come together.

I learned in this video that Palestinians and Israelis are really alike but they believe different things. I think when they meet each other that they are going to hate each other at first and then later they will start to like each other. I think they would talk about their beliefs and how they think of each other's religion.  I hope this ends really soon and they will come together as one country. I really think that they can unite and become friends. What do you think is going happen with the kids?

Conflict Of The Century

         In class we watched a movie called Promises. This movie is about two sides, the Palestinians and the Israelis. There is a big conflict going on about who own's a piece of land. I think both sides should just make peace because if they don't this conflict will go on for who knows how long! I know that there are close friends or family that have passed away because of terrosists or other races, but if the kids can't get along what kind of country is this? Kids should be able to get along and not make judgments about other races even if the past hasn't been too kind to them. I hope in the future that this horrifying conflict will come to an end. 

Beating the army

         I think that the kids will attack the enemy's army  and all of them will die and they could be free.  They need to learn how to be peaceful and have the same religion. They should talk about how to get the environment better and safer. Then they could get a better education. They might want to build their own army and get a peaceful army that will not make there own decisions. So what would you do if you were them?

Irritates and Palestinians blog!

I think when the kids get together they will make  an army and try to wipe out the enemy's army. But first they need to learn out to keep peace with each other they both basically have the same religions! They might discuss how they can make the place better. They really need to make peace join army's and the can live in peace. If they marry each other they could have a mix in there family's and they could come together as to religions and cultures! So do what o you think they would talk about?

          I think that Palestinians and Israelis are thinking the same thing, their thinking that Israelis took the Palestinians land, and the Palestinians took the Israelis land. Kids think the same thing, but if they see each other and talk about their opinion, they will be best friends. I think when Faraj, and the twin come and talk to each other about their opinions, then I think they will understand each other!  And I think when all the kids that we saw from the movie, Promises, I think they will understand each other, too! (I am exciting to see the rest of it!).
