Komodo Dragons can only be found in Indonesia, and can run up to 11 miles per hour. Some things the Komodo Dragon eats are: carrion, pigs, water buffalo, deer, smaller dragons and sometimes even humans! If an animal escapes the grip of a Komodo Dragon they won't have very long, a Komodo's saliva has at least 50 bacteria in it, so the animal usually dies of blood poisoning or the Komodo itself. In one meal a Komodo can eat as much as 80% of its own body weight, talk about an appetizing meal. The Komodo's are being poached but thankfully are staying at a stable population size of 3,000 to 5,000 on the islands of Komodo, Gila Motang, Rinca and Flores. Komodo's are able to be 10 ft. long (3 meters) and can 300 to 350 lbs. A downside to being a Komodo Dragon is they are also vulnerable.

It's crazy that a lizard can get so big that it can eat a human. And run up to 11 miles per hour! It must eat a lot of food because to eat 80 percent of its own body weight. Its sad to think that they have been poached so much that there only 2000 to 3000 left in the world. Its cool that even if the prey of the komodo dragon gets away it will die because the komodo dragon has 50 different kinds of bacteria in its mouth.
