It is located at the mouth of the Persian Gulf and it's routes go to East Africa.Oman built a commercial empire centuries ago. After the mid-19th century,power struggles weakened . Oman allows the United States to use ports and air base faculties. The country is not that big it is only 119,498 square miles and the population is 3,608,548.
